About Umm Al-Qura Calendar

Giving Muslims around the world one reliable, clear source for Saudi Arabia’s official Hijri calendar.

Our Mission

Ummalquracalendar.org started in 2015 to combine verified astronomical data from official Saudi sources with tools that make Islamic dates easy to find, convert, and plan around.

We launched after noticing that most Islamic calendar websites either showed conflicting dates, gave no explanation of which calendar system they followed, or simply couldn’t be trusted for administrative planning.

A Message from Our Founder

“We wanted to create something dependable: a single source that follows the official Umm al-Qura system, explaining the methodology transparently, and gives users accurate Hijri dates they can rely on for Ramadan, Eid, Hajj planning, and everyday Islamic timekeeping.”

This website exists to serve the global Muslim community. May Allah accept this effort and make it of benefit to the Ummah.
